Project Description

Sudbury Townhome

The homeowner’s relocation from a single-family to a new construction town home was the impetus for hiring a professional designer for a paint consultation. To owner’s delight with the process, the scope expanded into a full-service project.

It began with a walk-thru the developer’s model and ended with a master plan that upgraded the home’s value and created more functional living space for the family.

The family’s Indian heritage is reflected throughout — Finnerty mixed items her clients already owned with new ones, for interiors that marry traditional and modern elements from both Eastern and Western culture. Note the unique color palette of sunny yellows, teal blues, pale pinks and burnt orange. The owner’s mother’s painting, c.1960, makes a modern statement on the breakfast room, and relates to all the accent colors.
