Jeanne Finnerty-Bio
It is a joy for me to find the inspiration for spaces that feel effortless, that are comfortable and familiar but also excite, and give back to the homeowners.

BIOGRAPHY
Well-known for designing personalized environments which are understated, timeless and intimate. Intelligent and refined, her details optimize space and function unique to each end user. She provides personalized design services for projects of all shapes and sizes.
A Boston-based design professional, her projects and clients are wide-ranging–a Cambridge townhouse redo with an antique-lover from Texas; and an urban condominium in the Seaport district for a couple with a minimalist aesthetic.
Jeanne studied Graphic Design as the Massachusetts College of Art before finding her passion for interior design at the New England School of Art and Design and Suffolk University.
A professional member of ASID, and Past President of ASIDNE and former Director-at-Large for the Massachusetts Interior Design Coalition. She is certified by NCIDQ (National Certification of Interior Design Qualifications), and a member of the Charlestown Preservation Society.
Jeanne shares a creative space with husband, architect, William Finnerty at The StoveFactory in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Born and raised just outside of Boston in a family of eight. Creativity, humor and a supportive environment to pursue “the arts”, a touchstone for Jeanne. “My method always begins with a sketch pad in hand, and my technical skills were developed early in my career. Being married to an architect for 20 years has given me an enormous knowledge of the practice of architecture.”
